About Mistral Beads

Hi! I’m Mireia, the creator of Mistral Beads — a small, joyful world of colour, rhythm, and handmade magic.
I’ve loved beads for as long as I can remember. There’s something timeless about how these tiny elements can carry meaning, tell stories, and cross cultures.

I’m deeply inspired by the ancestral and tribal traditions of beadwork — by Indigenous, African, Mediterranean, and Native American women who have long used beads to express identity, celebrate beauty, and shape culture. Their stories and artistry move me deeply.

My creations are rooted in that admiration, but shaped by my everyday Mediterranean life: citrus tones, sun-warmed skin, salty breezes, tiled streets, and music drifting through open windows. I love that blend of joy and graceful boldness — like little rebels with good manners: playful, vibrant, and just the right amount of cheeky.

I’m also drawn to storms: their honesty, their raw energy, their wild winds. I try to capture that spirit in every piece I make — colourful yet thoughtful, fun but grounded, full of stories and sunshine (and a bit of thunder).
